What
are the components of the Master's Commission program?
Triumph Master's Commission program includes
weekly classes, practical hands-on experience, professional
training, and development in ministry placements, and
Life Transforming Events that occur periodically throughout
the year. In addition to these components, students
can be involved in drama, human video, dance, and many
other extracurricular activities. For more information
about the individuals ministries your student will be
a part of, simply click here.
If
my teen takes a year off before going to college, is
that okay?
Absolutely, we believe that is okay! Read
more about the Gap-year Philosophy. However, even
with some of the stats out there saying that the "gap-year"
is a positive, we do certainly recognize your concerns
about your student taking a year away from formal schooling.
The time an student spends in Master's Commission will
not only prepare them for the future through personal
development, but they will have a clear vision for the
calling God has for them. They will walk into college
with purpose and direction as opposed to changing majors
multiple times. If you have any questions or concerns
about this, or any other issue, please do not hesitate
to contact us.
Is
Triumph Master's Commission accredited?
Triumph Master's Commission is not an accredited
institution by itself. However, through a partnership
with schools (that are fully regionally accredited),
graduates of our studentship program are able to receive
college credit hours toward their college degree. Students
that are with us for multiple years can earn a full
Bachelor’s degree. Other students in our Pastoral
track will also be able to receive the training and
education needed to become credentialed Pastors. Click
here for more info on college credits.
Why
are there rules like "no dating"?
The structure of Master's Commission is designed
to create an atmosphere of radical growth. All of the
rules and structures are established with this purpose
in mind and are intended to help each student develop
into a leader of honor. Some of the rules, such as "no
dating," are guidelines set up to help undergraduate
students focus completely on God and avoid distractions
in their pursuit of growth. For more information on
the covenants and guidelines we expect our students
to abide by, click here.
What
does Triumph Church and Master's Commission believe
about the Bible?
Triumph Church and Triumph Master's Commission
believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and
authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is
one God eternally existent in three persons: The Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Christ,
in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles,
in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed
blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His personal
return in power and glory. We believe in the resurrection
of the saved to eternal life, and the everlasting punishment
of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in
His Son. We strive to achieve greater unity in all that
we do within the Body of Christ.
