Discipleship:
TMC cultivates and creates an environment to where
students have an opportunity to grow in their
strengths. One-on-One discipleship is the core
element of TMC.
Leadership
Training:
TMC students will work alongside the TMC staff
and the Pastoral team of Triumph Church for an
entire year, learning through hands-on experience
how to effectively lead groups of people. In addition
to the in valuable experience, TMC students will
study a variety of leadership material from known
leadership gurus such as John Maxwell, Tim Elmore,
Oswald Sanders, and Ken Blanchard. Leadership
development and tangible leadership training are
key elements to the TMC experience.

Academics
& Curriculum:
Foundational classes, leadership development
courses, Scripture study, required reading lists, and
book reports are the basis of our academic program,
which will challeneg students to grow, develop, and

Scripture
Study:
students shall be required to memorize and systematically
study over 200 Bible verses each year. We believe Scripture
study to be essential for spiritual growth. Click

Epic
Student Ministries:
TMC students have the opportunity to be a part
of the high school and junior high student ministries
of Triumph Church. students lead small groups,
help lead the creative ministries, and help to
create an environment where local students feel
accepted. EPIC

Life
Teams (Small Groups Ministry):
Each TMC student will serve in a Life
Team as a part of the small group ministry of
Triumph Church of Sugar Land and help to lead
small groups and/or local Bible studies for students
within EPIC Student Ministries. |

Retreats:
TMC students and staff attend and help to organize
and lead several different retreats for specific ministries
within our church.
Ministry
Practicum:
Ministry Practicum is the outreach portion of TMC where
we reach out to the local community of the Houston metro
region. We seek to reach out to people in our local
community through tangible ministry such as home repair,
adopt-a-block ministries, by lending a helping hand
of service to the elderly and other individuals in need,
serving our local community by taking on certain community
service projects and promoting green initiatives throughout
the greater Houston area. |

YouthCanLead:
As a ministry partner with Triumph Master's Commission,
students will be able to participate in the ministry
of “YouthCanLead”. This partnership
allows us to reach high school students “on
their turf.” Public high schools in America
is one of the world’s greatest missions
fields. We seek to encourage students and to show
them there is more to life than what they see.
students will participate in putting in and facilitating
high school assembly programs and national youth
rallies.
YOUTHCANLEAD exists to inspire, equip, and empower
young people to change the world. YOUTHCANLEAD
was founded with the vision to motivate and train
youth and young adults who want to make a positive
impact on their world. Why do we do this?... Simple...
The
world is full of needs. Nations are filled with
hurting people. With all these needs and hurts
comes opportunity… there is a chance for
young leaders to step up in a way that brings

Drama
& Human Video:
Students will learn multiple dramas and
human videos so that they are equipped effectively
minister when traveling performing in churches,
schools, and rallies around the nation.
Triumph
Children’s Ministry:
Working with Pastor Phyllis Kyles, TMC
students will have the chance to pour into the
children of our church while learning the key
fundamentals to effective children’s ministry.
Very few ministry opportunities are as rewarding
as ministering to children.
Media
& Web Design:
TMC is committed to producing high quality media
to reach this media savvy generation. TMC students
will have the opportunity to learn everything
from web design and video editing to t-shirt design
and off-set printing, assuming students feel a
calling towards the world of media |

Music/Worship
Ministries & Fine Arts:
Our
music ministry is designed for musically inclined students
whom want to learn more about leading worship. We teach
students to read music as well as mentor individuals
students to enrich their musical abilities.
Homeless
Outreach :
This ministry reaches out to the homeless of
the greater Houston metro area by serving in tangible
ways.
Coram
Deo Chapel Service:
Coram Deo is the Latin phrase meaning “Face-to-face
with God”. This chapel service is designed specifically
with our TMC students in mind. Our students have the
opportunity to worship and hear a dynamic message each
week from a member of the Pastoral staff team. |
