History
of Triumph Master's Commission
|
In
2008, Pastor Jimn Kyles
and his family moved to Sugar Land,
Texas to join the Pastoral staff team
of Triumph Church with Pastors Randy
and Renee Clark. After serving as a
key staff member for Teen Mania Ministries
for nearly four years, Jimn felt a call
to serve along-side the man he called
his "spiritual father". Jimn
has known Pastors Randy and Renee for
more than 21 years, and has truly been
their "spiritual son" for
many years.
Jimn Kyles moved to Sugar Land with
the desire to launch a ministry training
internship of some sort in the Houston
metro area. Pastor Jimn possesses an
incredibly innovative mind, leadership
expertise, and deep passion for people.
His passions and extensive experiences
made him the perfect candidate to launch
the new Master's Commission location
in Sugar Land, Texas. |

|
To
help pioneer this vision, Jimn Kyles asked
one of his dearest friends, Kenneth
Ortiz, to be a part of the launching
of this studentship program. Kenneth has a
wide variety of professional, business, and
ministry experiences. He has a tremendous
passion to see young adults be trained-up
to lead this generation towards the love and
transforming power of God. Together, Pastor
Jimn Kyles and Pastor Kenneth Ortiz make a
dynamic team. In the fall of 2010, Triumph
Master's Commission launched its inaugural
class.

HISTORY
OF TRIUMPH CHURCH
Triumph Church was founded in 1983 by
Pastors Randy & Renee Clark. It
began as a small home meeting in Mid-Jefferson
County Texas. Since that time Triumph
Church has grown from being a small
"in-home" meeting, with just
a few people, into being a thriving
multi-campus church and launching pad
for many other churches. Pastor Randy
is the founding pastor of four Triumph
Church campuses and serves as a Bishop
(“overseer”) for more than
a dozen other churches throughout the
nation. He also serves on the Board
of Directors for several other churches
and non-profit ministries including
"Churches in Covenant" which
oversees more than 75 churches nationwide. |

|
In
2008, after 25 years of sensational pastoral ministry
in Nederland, Texas, Pastors Randy and Renee “started
over again” when they packed up and moved
to Sugar Land, Texas (a vibrant community in the
Southwest suburbs of Houston) to pioneer a new
church plant. The Sugar Land community is one
of the fastest growing suburb communities in the
entire United States, filled with tremendous ministry
opportunities. Pastors Randy and Renee Clark took
a huge step of faith to make such a move, but
God has begun to do an amazing and exciting work
at Triumph Church in Sugar Land. Their goal was
to build a dynamic church family through close-knit
relationships, an environment that fosters Christ-like
love, and local church ministries that motivate
people to wholeheartedly serve God.
In
2009, Pastors Randy and Renee made a commitment
to launch a successful ministry training program
for young adults with the passion to change to
world. With their love for people and wide experience
with pastoral ministry, Pastors Randy and Renee
are excellent mentors to learn from for any young
leader. We believe Triumph Church is an outstanding
platform for students to receive ministry training.

HISTORY
OF MASTER'S COMMISSION
Master’s Commission began in 1984 in Phoenix,
Arizona, at Phoenix First Assembly of God Church.
It begun in response to a challenge from a Mormon
Missionary to two Christian men in the church.
The men decided to take the challenge and dedicate
a year of their life to a set of requirements
for each other. The men were astonished with the
amount of growth in their personal lives after
a year of keeping each other accountable to the
prayer, Scripture memorization, evangelism, and
other specific requirements. One of those men,
Larry Kerychuck, spoke to Pastor Barnett and began
the first Master’s Commission program with
Carmen Balsamo as the Director. During the second
year of the MC program, Carmen passed away and
Pastor Lloyd Zeigler became the Director of Master’s
Commission.
More
than 26 years later the program continues to impact
lives worldwide. Within a few years other churches
began to catch the vision of having a program
like Master's Commission, and so the movement
began. There are now more than 120 Master's Commission
programs all across the United States and abroad.
With the explosive growth of the program, Pastor
Lloyd felt the need to launch a governing body
to hold individual programs accountable to the
core values of Master's Commission. In 1995, the
Master's
Commission International Network (MCIN) was
born. Today, more than 70 of the Master's Commission
programs worldwide are affiliated with the MCIN.
