It
is the responsibility of the student to make
contact with such schools and determine whether
or not the school of your choice will award
you credit towards the degree of your choice.
We also recommend each student contact other
institutions to see if they are willing to award
credit for participation in Master's Commission.
We at Triumph Master's Commission
promise to help students facilitate this process
as best as we can. Furthermore, there are schools
we highly recommend and we can help facilitate
the process of earning credits with these institutions:
- Excelsior
College
- Chesapeake
Bible College & Seminary
Excelsior
College has gained the reputation nationally
and internationally as the most "flexible"
school, being that they reward credit for a
variety of things other than simply classroom
academics. Excelsior
College is a fully regionally accredited
institution with strong partnerships with many
private organizations as well as the United
States military. This school is specifically
designed for the student who seeks a "traditional"
degree without having to attend a "traditional"
school. They award credit to individuals with
a variety of experiences including, but not
limited to, lifelong learning and real world
experience as well as "hands-on" training,
seminars attended, books read, and internships
completed in addition to traditional classroom
academics. Excelsior College is also very flexible
when rewarding credits for CLEP test, DSST exams,
and the GRE exams. They have also developed
their own proficiency exams, known as Excelsior
College Exams (ECE), now being used worldwide
by other schools. If you already have received
some college credit elsewhere, Excelsior College
is a great option to help you finish your degree
while a part of Triumph Master's Commission.
Students will have the opportunity to assemble
a "Portfolio" to demonstrate the knowledge
they have gained while being a part of TMC.
Excelsior College will evaluate the portfolio
and transcribe awarded collegiate-level credits.
TMC does not cover the costs of the evaluations;
they are paid directly to Excelsior College
at a rate of $95 per credit attempted. If you'd
like more information about this school, please
feel free to contact us
or simply contact
Excelsior College directly.
Chesapeake
Bible College & Seminary has a
unique partnership with several internship programs
and Master's Commission programs across the
nation. Students can receive credit for both
participation in internship activities and classroom
academics. This partnership is not designed
for students seeking to transfer credits to
other schools but designed for the student looking
to earn a ministry-related or Bible-related
degree while being a part of TMC. Chesapeake
Bible College & Seminary is not regionally
accredited however is state-certified and nationally
accredited and has developed a strong academic
reputation within certain Evangelical circles.
If you'd like more information on their academic
credentials, feel free to contact
their offices directly. CBC&S has been
designed only for those students sure that they
want to pursue a career in full-time vocational
ministry (pastoral or missions or both). Any
student who stays with TMC for three years in
our pastoral track may very well leave our program
with a full Bachelor's degree from CBC&S
and pastoral
credentials.
Through
these college partnerships Triumph Master's
Commission is able to offer students
the advantages of receiving college credits
for "hands-on" experience and classes
taken with us; all at a fraction of
the cost for regular college credit tuition.
Please feel free to contact our offices immediately
for more details.
(*)
Most schools that give college-level transcribed
credit to Master's Commission graduates typically
only do so for those students graduating from
a program affiliated with the Master's
Commission International Network.
