We
believe you are not having fun unless you are
truly learning and you are not able to be all
God wants you to be unless you are being well
educated as well as learning how to be a self-educator.
Before you hit your escape button, think about
it... think about your favorite activity. We'd
be willing to bet that it involves some type
of learning, and without that you wouldn’t
like it.
What
about listening to music? Part of the joy is
discovering new bands and new sounds and learning
new depths of musical aspects. What about sports
and athletics? Unless there's a challenge to
overcome an obstacle, it's really no fun. The
intricacies of sports usually involves lots
of learning (and that's what makes it fun).
Even video games involves learning and challenges,
right? As soon as you can zip through all the
levels of a game, it isn’t fun anymore.
Unless we are growing, expanding, and learning…we
often get bored. Since we wouldn't want you
to get bored while you're here at TMC,
we put a high priority on learning... both through
the experience of "hands-on" ministry
training as well as classroom-style academics.
